How long have you been in business?
What genre of photography do you specialize in?
Describe your photography style.
I am all about posed, studio style newborn photography. I tend to lean more towards colors with a lot of contrast. I tried to do light and airy for a while, but soon realized that style did not speak to me.
What’s the best advice you’d give to a new photographer just starting out?
Never stop learning! Attend mentoring sessions, join online workshops, go to conferences. Invest in yourself and your education. Don’t go out right away and spend thousands of dollars on the newest, trending props. They won’t do you any good if you don’t have a good grasp on photography. Know the ins and outs of your camera and practice, practice, practice! Set yourself up for success and follow your dreams.
Who are a few of your favorite prop vendors? We’d love to show them some love 🙂
Mama Knits, Little Acorn Props, Spirit & Arrow Designs, Rozzi Rayne, Threads & Evergreen, The Original Photoblocks Props and Luneberry
